What an amazing time we had in Thailand! We took part in a large international leadership conference organized by Youth With A Mission. Of the 1,300 participants, we knew well over half of them personally. It was fantastic to see so many old friends again!
The services were truly special, and we clearly sensed God’s presence. It was a wonderful time of worship. The central theme was that the Lord Jesus is our leader—the One we strive to follow, even as we stumble along the way. Loren Cunningham, the founder of Youth With a Mission, always emphasized this during his lifetime: it is not he, but the Lord Jesus who leads us. We concluded the week with a festive love feast: a delicious meal at beautifully decorated tables, filled with gratitude for what God is doing and will continue to do around the world.
Onward
to Cambodia
Afterward, we traveled on to Cambodia, together with our grandson Rafael. He has just finished high school and is now starting as a volunteer at the Youth With a Mission campus in Battambang (the country’s third-largest city). As many as 150 full-time missionaries live and work on this large campus. It’s wonderful to be here for a while! Last year, a group from this campus participated in our online course, so it was especially nice to see them in person now.
Preparations
for the New Module
We look
back on this trip with great gratitude. Now we’re getting back to work with
renewed energy to prepare for this year’s third online module (scheduled for
October 19 through November 6). Fortunately, we had already completed most of
the translation work into French, Portuguese, and Spanish before we left. A
team from South Korea is handling the Korean translation.

clarity on the cause of the blood in his urine.

countries, organizing this is still quite a challenge. Please pray for clarity,
peace, and good preparation! 😊
